TriniTEQ International Pty Ltd, a leading developer of handheld ordering systems for the global hospitality industry, announced today the recent ten year anniversary of the first WaiterPAD system deployment. The historic installation took place in late 1999 at celebrated Japanese restaurant Matsuri in the Perth Central Business District (CBD). At the time, this was believed to be amongst the first successful restaurant handheld deployments in Australia.

TriniTEQ Australasia (previously known as PalmTEQ) has just released specifically for the Hotel and Tavern industry. This new add on feature gives WaiterPAD the ability to operate Tab accounts within the handheld solution. Our research and development into this solution came from our Hotel POS customers who wanted patrons to be able to move around a venue, ensure that all their purchases are kept track of and that the patron pays once at the end of the night.
