Meals that arrive together, even when guests order separately
In a pub, guests order and pay at the bar one by one, then expect their meals to land at the same time. PowerEPOS brings those orders together for the kitchen, so the whole table eats together.
- Bistro Mode batches orders by table. Individual orders placed at the bar go to the kitchen together, so meals for the same table arrive together.
- Food to the kitchen, drinks to the bar. Each part of an order goes to its own printer or kitchen display screen (KDS).
- Allergen and product information on hand, so staff can answer guests' questions with confidence.
- Drink recipes and specials on the POS. Staff can view and print drink recipes and update specials from the touchscreen.
- Smart prompts remind staff to upsell, from a side of chips to a jug for the table.
Why Australian pubs choose PowerEPOS
A good pub is built on its people and its regulars. Your POS should back them up with fair costs, local support and a system that keeps trading on a bad internet day.
Choose your own payment provider
PowerEPOS works with 20+ payment providers, so you pick the EFTPOS provider and rates that suit your pub. If a better deal comes along, you can switch providers without changing your POS.
Triniteq charges no transaction fees. You pay one predictable monthly fee, so your POS costs don't rise as your pub gets busier.
Keeps trading when the internet drops
PowerEPOS is cloud-hybrid. If your pub Wi-Fi or NBN drops on a big footy weekend, you keep serving, and everything syncs back to the cloud once you are reconnected.

What pub owners say about PowerEPOS
Pub and hotel operators across Australia rate PowerEPOS for an easy switch, staff who pick it up quickly and support that is there during and after hours.
The team have been able to pick it up and just run with it. It's just a no-brainer for us. From the ease of reporting to the service we get, I wouldn't have any qualms or hesitations in recommending it.
PowerEPOS is easy to use and explain to staff which helps with training. We've found accessing our live data through Insights is awesome at providing real-time feedback as it really helps in shift management. Tracking PLU sales helps us save on preparation and ordering, and Triniteq support has been awesome.
We found Triniteq's Point of Sale system to be very adaptable to our unique needs. We found their POS system to be quick and responsive, customisable and easy for my staff to pick up. The before and after-sales support is incredible.
I go to show my staff how to do certain things in PowerEPOS, and they say I already figured that out myself. That's a sign the system is working well. If you've got any issues, you deal with the same people.

Pub POS system FAQs
What is the best POS system for pubs in Australia?
The right pub POS handles fast bar service, pub meals, bar tabs and functions on one system, and keeps trading when your internet drops. PowerEPOS is an Australian-made pub POS that does all of this, works with 20+ integrated payment providers and comes with Australian-based support during and after hours.
How much does a pub POS system cost?
PowerEPOS is a monthly software licence, and Triniteq charges no transaction fees, so your POS cost stays the same as your sales grow. Support and software upgrades are included. Hardware is separate: buy it from us or use compatible Windows devices you already own. See current pub pricing on our POS pricing menu.
Can PowerEPOS handle both the front bar and pub meals?
Yes. PowerEPOS runs bar service and pub meal service on one system. Orders go to the right station automatically, food to the kitchen and drinks to the bar, and several staff can work across the bar and dining areas at the same time.
How does PowerEPOS handle meals ordered at the bar?
Bistro Mode batches individual orders by table number and sends them to the kitchen together, so a group gets its meals at the same time even when each person orders and pays separately at the bar.
Can PowerEPOS manage bar tabs, deposits and functions?
Yes. PowerEPOS handles bar tabs, prepayments, credit limits and deposits. You can manage party packages, functions, private events and table reservations, and take deposits for private room bookings.
Does PowerEPOS work without internet?
Yes. PowerEPOS is a cloud-hybrid POS, so your pub keeps processing orders and sending them to the kitchen if your internet connection drops. Everything syncs back to the cloud automatically once you are reconnected.
How quickly can new pub staff learn PowerEPOS?
New staff can be trained and serving quickly because the interface is simple to use. Fast PIN or RFID login speeds up shift changes, our online knowledge base supports self-paced learning, and Triniteq provides installation and team training.
Can staff check allergen information on the POS?
Yes. Staff can access allergen and product information on the POS, so they can answer guests' questions with confidence. Dietary requests such as gluten free also print on the kitchen docket.
Does PowerEPOS support kitchen display screens for pubs?
Yes. Meal orders can go to kitchen display screens (KDS) or kitchen printers, while drinks go to the bar. Kitchen staff clear finished orders with a bump bar.
Can I track staff sales and popular menu items?
Yes. Sales Analyst gives you in-depth reporting on your desktop, so you can track staff sales, best-selling food and drinks and menu performance by time and day. Insights Lite adds dashboards and snapshots of your sales on your phone.
Can PowerEPOS track stock for one pub or across multiple venues?
Yes. PowerEPOS Stock tracks beer, wine, spirits and kitchen stock in a single pub or across a group of venues. Each sale deducts stock automatically using your recipes, so every pour and pub meal comes off the right items, and staff can record wastage and breakage as it happens. Groups can transfer stock between venues and buy centrally while still seeing reporting for each site. Stocktakes are faster too, with FIFO cost of goods calculated when you finalise the count.
Does PowerEPOS support QR code ordering in pubs?
Yes. PowerEPOS integrates with me&u, Chewzie and Grayza, so guests can scan a QR code to order and pay from their phone. me&u also offers pay at the table, so guests who ordered with staff can scan a QR code to pay their bill. Orders flow straight into PowerEPOS and onto your bar and kitchen dockets.
Can I choose my own payment provider with PowerEPOS?
Yes. PowerEPOS integrates with 20+ payment providers, so you choose the EFTPOS provider and rates that suit your pub, and you can switch providers later without changing your POS. Triniteq charges no transaction fees. See our integrations for the full list.
Is PowerEPOS suitable for pub hotels?
Yes. PowerEPOS is built for pubs, taverns and pub hotels, with fast front bar service, pub meals, bar tabs and functions on one system. If you run a hotel with accommodation and need room charges or property management system (PMS) integration, see our hotel POS.
Can PowerEPOS run more than one pub or hotel?
Yes. PowerEPOS includes multi-site management, so hotel and pub groups can manage menus, pricing and reporting across every venue from one back office. Learn more about our multi-site POS.
