About Triniteq

Triniteq is an Australian hospitality technology company, providing PowerEPOS point of sale software along with the hardware, installation, training, and ongoing support that make up a complete POS system. Read more about Triniteq. Founded in Perth in 1997, Triniteq now serves hospitality venues across Australia.

Triniteq was founded in Perth in 1997 and now has a team distributed nationally. Triniteq supports venues across every state, from independent cafes to major stadiums, all on the same platform.

PowerEPOS is Triniteq's cloud-hybrid point of sale software. It handles front-of-house sales, kitchen order routing, table management, and reporting, and keeps working even if your internet connection drops, syncing automatically once it's back.

PowerEPOS runs in thousands of venues across Australia, ranging from single-site cafes and food trucks to multi-site restaurant groups and major stadiums. See customer stories from venues using PowerEPOS.

Cost and pricing

No. Triniteq charges a flat monthly subscription with zero transaction fees. You negotiate processing rates directly with your chosen payment processor, so what you pay Triniteq stays the same whether your business grows or not.

Pricing depends on your venue size, number of terminals, and which add-on modules you need. See the pricing page to build your own package and see indicative costs, or call 1300 784 666 for a tailored quote.

POS hardware, such as terminals and printers, is sold separately from the PowerEPOS software subscription. Build a package and see indicative costs on the pricing page, or your quote will set out hardware, installation, and any setup costs alongside your ongoing monthly software fee.

Yes. Triniteq quotes and published pricing are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

POS hardware

A typical setup includes a POS terminal, a receipt printer, and a cash drawer, with kitchen display screens and handheld devices added depending on your venue. Browse the range in the hardware shop, or Triniteq will recommend the right hardware for your service style during your quote.

In some cases, compatible existing hardware can be reused, which reduces upgrade costs during implementation. Talk to the sales team about your current setup and they'll confirm what can carry over.

Call the Triniteq support line on 1300 784 666, or visit Support and Training. The Australian-based support team will troubleshoot remotely first and arrange a replacement or repair if needed, so your venue is back up and running as quickly as possible.

Installation and training

Timeframes depend on the size and complexity of your setup. A single-terminal cafe can be installed remotely in a short timeframe, while multi-terminal venues and large multi-site rollouts are scheduled in stages and take longer to minimise disruption to trade.

Yes. Every installation includes staff training, delivered remotely online or in person on-site depending on your setup. Enterprise deployments include comprehensive, staged training as part of the rollout. Ongoing guides and video tutorials are available through Support and Training.

Your implementation team will confirm exact requirements for your setup, which generally include stable network access, power at each terminal location, and your menu and pricing structure ready ahead of configuration. Not yet a customer? Request a quote to get started.

Sales quotes

Your Triniteq sales contact will walk you through your quote and the next steps directly. Call 1300 784 666 or book a time with the sales team to get started.

PowerEPOS is modular, so you can choose the integrations, workflows, and hardware that suit your venue rather than being forced into a standard setup. Talk to the sales team about your specific requirements and they'll configure a solution around them.

Quote validity is confirmed by your sales contact at the time of quoting, as hardware pricing can shift with supplier availability. Contact the sales team if you need an update on a quote you've already received.

Accounts and billing

PowerEPOS subscriptions are billed monthly by direct debit, with your payment details collected as part of onboarding. To update your payment method, contact the accounts team.

Invoices are sent to your registered billing email each cycle. If you need copies of past invoices or a payment summary, contact the Triniteq accounts team or call 1300 784 666.

Yes. Account transfers can be arranged when a venue changes ownership. Contact the Triniteq accounts team to start the process.

Email accounts@triniteq.com with written notice at least 7 days before the 1st of the month, which is when PowerEPOS bills, to avoid being charged for the next cycle. Include your business name, account or customer number, and requested cancellation date. Your service continues until the end of your current billing period, so export any data you need beforehand, as it's permanently removed after cancellation. Cancellation applies to future billing cycles only, no refunds are issued for the current cycle. For help with the process, call 1300 784 276.

Core functionality

Yes. PowerEPOS handles split billing by seat, item, or custom portion, along with course timing for fine dining, table management with drag-and-drop floor plans, and kitchen order routing with bump bars. See the full feature set on the PowerEPOS solutions page.

Yes. Triniteq's Loyalty module integrates directly with PowerEPOS, along with a separate Gift Card Manager add-on for gift card sales and redemption. Both are available as add-ons to your subscription.

Reliability and support

Yes. Triniteq was founded in Perth in 1997 and now has a team distributed across Australia, and the support team operates in Australian time zones rather than an offshore call centre. Visit Support and Training for guides and contact options.

Triniteq provides business hours and after-hours support from its Australian team. Call 1300 784 666, or find guides and contact options at Support and Training.

Reporting and analytics

Yes. PowerEPOS provides consolidated multi-site reporting through the TQ Platform, so restaurant groups and franchises can view sales across every location from one dashboard.

Standard reporting covers sales by hour, day, week and month, product mix, staff performance, and payment method breakdown, exportable to CSV, Excel or PDF. For deeper analysis and forecasting, the Sales Analyst add-on is available. See the pricing page for current add-on pricing.

Integration and compatibility

Yes. PowerEPOS integrates directly with both Xero and MYOB AccountRight for automated financial reconciliation. See the full list on the integrations page.

PowerEPOS integrates with 15 or more payment processors, including Tyro, Zeller, Zero Payments, and the major Australian banks. You choose the processor that offers the best rate for your business and can switch between them in 1 to 2 hours without changing your POS.
