How Does Opera Integrate With Your POS?
Charge codes are mapped from the POS to Opera Cloud PMS to connect the 2 systems. When a guest dines in the restaurant or has drinks at the bar, the bill can be transferred to the guest’s room bill by using Room Search and Room Charge on the POS. Once the bill is charged to the room, the bill is closed and moved off the POS.
This integration also allows users to:
- Apply credit limits to a guest’s room bill.
- Part-charge a bill. For example two guests want to split a bill, so we can charge our hotel guest’s items to their room bill, and the other customer pays by card.
