Integrate Xero with your PowerEPOS or WaiterPOS

Triniteq's upgraded Xero integration allows your POS to seamlessly connect with and transfer sales data automatically into your Xero accounting package.

What is Xero?
Xero accounting software is designed for small businesses. It’s easy to use, accessible online, and the integration between Xero and Triniteq’s POS software PowerEPOS and WaiterPOS, is now even better.

Triniteq's upgraded Xero integration allows your POS to seamlessly connect with and transfer sales data into your Xero accounting package. Replacing the old Xero integration, this new interface provides a secure connection through which POS sales are automatically pushed from WaiterPOS or PowerEPOS into Xero.

Configured mapping of POS groups, adjustments, and payments result in this information being automatically pushed through to Xero for each unique Z report finalised for each POS terminal. Save time and increase accuracy by removing manual data entry via our upgraded Xero Integration.

How does Xero integrate with PowerEPOS?
As PowerEPOS is cloud-based software, transaction data is already transferred to and stored in the cloud. This means that when the integration module is added and configured, it will automatically sync data with Xero as specified during setup.

How does Xero integrate with WaiterPOS?
As WaiterPOS is on-premise POS software where data is stored in a database on site or near the venue, cloud storage must first be added to the WaiterPOS software stack via Insights, our live cloud-based reporting tool. This will provide a means for data to be uploaded and stored in the cloud, and then automatically synced with Xero as required.

Insights is an invaluable tool for every business owner and manager, allowing critical figures to be tracked and compared at any time, via live sales and performance data, through your desktop and mobile device. More on Insights >>

Which POS data fields can be mapped to Xero?
The following information can be exported from POS and mapped to Xero account codes so that the final daily invoice balances to zero:
• Main Groups (e.g., Food and Beverage) OR Groups (e.g., Entrees, Mains, Desserts, Sides)
• Adjustments (discounts and surcharges)
• Payments

Groups or Main Groups from PowerEPOS or WaiterPOS are mapped to the sales account code in Xero. They can be treated as either credit or debit lines on an invoice depending on how your account is set up in Xero.
Adjustments can be mapped to apply directly to the line item as it comes across or is added as a separate line item.
